Hey Guys,
We are in the process of wrapping up a small office renovation at Fresenius Dialysis Dominion. Late last year we were selected as part of transforming their treatment floor, and now we are demoing a small wall to create the Clinic Manager’s new office. This new office will allow her to be closer to her patients, and staff.
To give everyone an idea of the scope of work we needed to demo the wall, ceiling, and door. Then using metal stud framing to allow for a new window where the door was removed. After which sheetrock was applied, the joints, and any damage was taped and then drywall compound applied. Before painting, the areas were sanded and primer applied. Finally the walls were painted. During the drywalling/painting phase the ceiling was raised one foot. The last thing is the carpet, which is being shipped as I type this blog.
During the demo, framing, and drywalling phases, we utilized an air scrubber to minimize the airborne dust typically found with construction projects. With patients visiting the clinic three days a week, cleanliness is of the utmost importance.
