demo
1. When demoing a job site, make sure to designate a removal route for all debris.
2. When doing a demo on a construction project make sure to have the right sized dumpster available for the amount of debris created. For example, a 30 yard dumpster will hold 4-5 tons of construction debris.
3. Consider reusing or repurposing items removed during a demo, such as crown molding or cabinets.
4. When doing a demo job, always check the location of water lines, gas lines, electrical lines and load-bearing walls.
5. Circular saws have many more uses than just cutting studs and plywood. They can be fitted with many different blades to cut through tin, roofing, rebar and even concrete.
6. When demo-ing a concrete slab, cover with a thick sheet of plastic to keep the debris from flying around.
